The Vend-Xero integration is a link between your Vend store and your Xero account that simplifies your store’s accounting by automatically sending daily and account sales, payment totals and invoices from Vend to your Xero accounting system — reducing manual data entry, saving you time and increasing accuracy.
Once set-up you will be able to easily reconcile your payment deposits in your bank account against your sales totals and payment totals from Vend; view sales, payments and posted stock orders; match suppliers payments against stock orders, payments from invoiced customers against account sales; and much more.

They do! When you integrate Xero with Vend, you can import existing Xero customers or suppliers into your Vend account using the ‘Import from Xero' option and your customers will now be linked. Vend then becomes your master platform for adding, editing and maintaining customers.

Of course. Vend allows you to track sales from each outlet to your Xero Tracking Categories, generating the information needed to report on transactions by outlet or channel so you can drill down into different areas of your business. You can use this feature to see how each of your locations is performing or to compare your in-store sales to e-commerce sales.

Glad you asked. Every time you make an On Account sale in Vend, an accounts receivable invoice will be automatically created and sent to Xero. This contains an itemised list of all products, total tax amount(s), total sale amount, any payments made against the sale and customer details. The invoice number on the accounts receivable invoice in Xero will match the Vend receipt/invoice number for the On Account sale too.

Yes they do. Accounting for stock/inventory costs is important to help you understand whether your retail business is making money. This information can be used to understand how much your stock costs you, and how much your inventory is worth. When you're processing your stock orders through Vend, you can send these to Xero to create an accounts payable invoice in Xero.
